Written By : Source: MINISTRY OF INFORMATION. Sixty three staff members of the Ministry of Youth attended a two-day team and morale building workshop at the Nataleira Eco Lodge in Dawasamu last week.
It was also an opportunity for the ministry to review their performances and build capacity among staff.
The workshop gave officers an opportunity to visit youth projects in the five villages in the district of Dawasamu, which includes Silana, Luvunavuaka, Dawasamu, Nataleira and Driti.
The Public Service Commission also made a presentation on the civil service code of conduct explaining issues like work ethics and discipline.
The workshop was also an opportunity for them to hear from the Strategic Framework for Change Coordinating Office on how well the ministry had fared in implementing the Peoples Charter for Change, Peace and Progress.
The youth ministry was rated 13 out of 20, which is above average by the SFCCO.
The workshop was also an opportunity for the ministry to present awards to its employees as a token of appreciation for their hard work during the year.
The venue of the workshop, the Nataleira Ecolodge is being managed by Joseva Bau, who had also gone through a Ministry of Youth empowerment programme a few years ago.
