Three former Flying Fijians and Nadi reps are expected to jet into the country to witness the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge on Saturday.
They are Jo Qoro, Serupepeli Tuvula and Solo Rasolea, who all reside in Australia.
This was confirmed by former Nadi winger Viliame Lilidamu yesterday.
“They will fly over to lend their support and I will very much be with them,” said 53- year-old Lilidamu who hails from Ono, Kadavu.
They played under the guidance of the late coach Ratu Josateki Savou.
“The Nadi team during our days had the guts and is like the current Nadroga team,”Lilidamu said.
Lilidamu donned the Navy blue jumper from 1984-88 and he later won three caps for Fiji, played eight games and scored a try in national colours. He made his test debut against Tonga on June 28, 1986 at Teufaiva Park, Nuku’alofa.
Lilidamu said the Iliesa Tanivula-coached Nadi side looks promising.
“There is no pressure for the Nadi team as Tanivula should have something different for Saturday,” Lilidamu said.
Players who represented Nadi with  Lilidamu in the late 80s include Solo Rasolea, Sekove Sadria, Simi Tale, Peceli Gale (C ), Jo Qoro, Iokini Finau (VC), Bruce Naulago, Late Lemeki Vuetaki, Viliame Lilidamu, Aminio Bebe, Asaeli Hughes, Epeli Volavola, Naivogo, Jo Toga, Pauliasi Tabulutu, Savenaca Aria, Peni Tuvu, Epeli Turuva, Esala Labalaba, Meli Rabonu, Belasio Vukiwai, and Ilai Koroitamana.
Nadi lock horns with Nadroga at Lawaqa Park at 3pm on Saturday.
