Two fires in 3 hours

National Fire Authority (NFA) responded to two separate fire incidents in the early hours of yesterday.
A family in Navosai, Narere, Nasinu has lost all their belongings in a house fire early yesterday morning at around 7: 48am.
Firefighters from Valelevu saw a two bedroom corrugated iron house on fire when they arrived on the scene,
The house was empty when the fire started.
A nearby resident and witness said that the house owner was at work when the fire started.
Meanwhile, National Fire Authority Valelevu had earlier responded to a car fire call at Narere at 5.49am yesterday morning.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters saw the car fully engulfed in flames and the team quickly extinguished the fire to prevent it from spreading to the property nearby.
