Kalyanji Pala Labasa coach Arthur Simmons has resigned from his post.

Simmons resigned on Monday citing personal reasons.

“I resigned because of personal reasons and I did not wish to make any comments on this,” Simmons said.

Labasa plays Rewa in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League match at the ANZ Stadium in Suva at 3pm today.

“I wish the team all the best for the game tomorrow (today) and the Fiji FACT,” Simmons said.

“I gave my best to the team and the players and they have my full support.”

Labasa is in Pool One with defending champions Suva, Ba and Nadroga while Pool Two has Nadi, Lautoka, Navua and Rewa in the Vodafone Fiji FACT.

Labasa plays Suva in their opening Fiji FACT pool match on June 15 at the ANZ Stadium at 7.45pm.
