Watch Panthers Coach, Warns Development Officer

The brain behind the Dee Cees Nadera Panthers side will make the difference, says a senior development officer.

Lagilagi Golea said wily Panthers coach Vula Dakuitoga holds the key in their semifinal clash against KBL Saru Dragons at Churchill Park in Lautoka tomorrow.

“This is what the Dragons are wary about,” he said.

“Yes the Panthers are a formidable side with lots of promising players but the man who heads the controls is someone who knows what to be done at the right time. Vula Dakuitoga has been in this situation before so he knows how to play his cards. Over the years he has done it for Fiji and the Panthers.”

Golea said despite the Dragons leading the Top 8 points table, the Panthers cannot be ruled out.

“This is a do-or-die situation and the players will be throwing their bodies on the line. This is where the pride for their club comes in.”

Golea however said the Dragons would not want to lose on their home ground and in front of their fans. This week former Vodafone Fiji Bati reps Esira Dokoni, Seruvi Ralulu, Semisi Tora and Tikiko Noke have joined the Dragons to prepare for this most important clash.
