Daltron, an information technology (IT) solutions and service provider, has noticed an increasing trend in the sales of laptops and other gadgets.

Daltron country manager Fiji, Avinesh Krishna, labelled this as a good sign that Fiji was embracing towards a more technology savvy nation.

“The social media particularly has a great impact on people’s lives and the need for smarter devices has become a necessity,” he said.

“I feel no duty on laptops by the government has encouraged the customers to have the IT products at very affordable prices,” he said.

“We understand while the prices are affordable but still not all can afford and therefore we have arrangements with Carpenters Finance that ensures that our customers get the products on easy payments terms.”

Mr Krishna has assured they will continue to bring products that will excite the customers.

Eid promotion

Meanwhile, 21 lucky Daltron customers recently won various prizes through the company’s Eid Promotion.

The promotion was ran during July and August whereby big specials were given on IT products at all Daltron outlets around the country.

“This promotion was targeted to all our retail customers, basically the individual customers,” Mr Krishna said.

“The customers simply had to buy products from Daltron outlets and write their name on the vouchers provided and enter into the draw.”

Daltron has also planned another promotion for October.

“In October we feel that we will bring at exciting promotion and we will be the only IT company to bring this promotion to our customers,” he said.

“We would like our customers to stay tuned and get excited about it and keep watch on the media channels.”
