“The boys have been training well and though there are a few injuries we feel confident going into the game,”team manager Vilimoni Dranivesi said.

“We know this will definitely be a tough one because Cakaudrove has the upper hand on us.

“They’ve featured in the B-Division finals before so they’re bringing with them experience and they are a very strong side. We are coming back into the competition after a one year.

“Everyone knows that we were once in the major union and our goal is to return to the top ranks of provincial rugby and become a major union in this country.

“We’ve got nothing to lose so we’re feeling hopeful about this game and we’ll go in with the right mindset and beating Cakaudrove would be a major bonus for us. We’re trying to keep the team psyched up and we look forward to the game.”

Dranivesi also called for support from the Ra community.eam.

“I invite the people of Ra to come down to the ground and show their support. We will appreciate if they turn up in large numbers.

“We’ve come through the pool rounds, the play-offs and the quarterfinals and now with the semifinals we would be very grateful to the Ra community in Suva and Nausori to come out and support us.”

Ra will play Bligh Waters Shipping Cakaudrove today at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park.
