Voters in Navunibau in Namosi will now vote in Vunibau in Serua.

This has happened because when they reported for pre-polling at Namosi Primary School on Wednesday, their names were not in the register even though they had with them their voter registration card.

Speaking to the Fiji Sun yesteray at Namosi Secondary School, Navunibau voter Saimoni Qio said they were very disappointed that their names were not in the register.

He said they were informed on Thursday by the village headman that they would be casting their votes in Vunibau Village in Serua.

“Who is going to pay for our fare?” he asked.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama yesterday intervened and said the Elections Office would pay for their fares to Vunibau to vote.

Mr Qio said he was happy that the PM had come in to help them,
