Three Girls Confront Cheater

Three Girls Confront Cheater

Meet Charlie Fisher, 20. A week ago, this supermarket worker from Hertfordshire, England was dating three different girls, probably thinking he was a bit of a hero.

But today his face has been spread around the world as that of a cheater after his three girlfriends found out about each other, hooked up via Facebook and then confronted him at the airport, with the picture of them all together at the arrival lounge capturing the world’s attention.

HOW THEY FOUND OUT

The grand plan to confront Fisher began when 17-year-old Becky Connery – who told the Mail Online she was falling in love with and believed she was exclusive with Fisher – found texts from another girl on his phone (who wishes not to be named).

Instead of confronting him, she got in touch with the other woman via text, and soon enough the two girls discovered via Facebook that there was a third lady in Fisher’s life, Lizzie Leeland-Cunningham, 19. All three ladies had been with Fisher for over six months.

So what did they do? They met at the pub to compare notes, and after realising the levels of his deception, they decided to wait at Luton Airport’s arrivals lounge that Saturday to surprise Fisher as he got off the plane after a family holiday in Germany.

HIS REACTION

“He came out of customs and saw all of us and his face just dropped,” Becky Connery told the Mail Online.

“We said we wanted to talk to him, and he said “Can’t I talk to you later?” and we said no, we wanted to talk to him now.

Fisher started walking straight towards the car park with his grandma who had come to pick him up, with the girls continuing to confront him.

As an aside, his grandma clearly part of the sisterhood, asked what the issue was and why three women were berating her grandson apparently just “shrugged and said ‘OK’” when finding out the reasons for their anger.

SO WHAT NOW?

So what’s happened since? Charlie supposedly called in sick from work the next day out of embarrassment, but the girls are now firm friends, and have no regrets about their public confrontation:

‘I’m so glad we confronted him,” Connery tweeted in defense of her actions. “It’s not the 16th century any more – girls don’t have to put up with this.’

Did Connery see the signs and suspect he was a cheater?

“He was very protective of his phone,” she told the Mail Online.

“He wouldn’t let me put pictures of me and him on social networks, he deleted comments I made about us – looking back, he was very shady.”

Moral:

Hell hath no fury like three women scorned in the social media age. Stuff.co.nz
