Rugby League legends Andrew Johns and Brad Fittler have identified three players from the Nines Tournament in Sigatoka last week. Development officer, Suliasi Cakautabu said two of the players attend Navosa Central College while the other is from Nasinu Secondary School.

They are Eroni Katonisau, Jone Waqaliva and Kaminieli Ravono.

“We had invited some Nasinu Secondary students because of their caliber and they did well,” he said.

Ravono is a close relative of veteran Flying Fijian winger Sireli Bobo.

Cakautabu said Katonisau and Waqaliva were part of the Vodafone Fiji Secondary School U18 tour to Australia early this year.

Johns and Fittler will write to the NRL clubs if they are interested to include the three students in their NRL Holden Cup U20 trials.

“If they are selected by the NRL club then there is where they will sign-up their contract,” Cakautabu added.
