Consumers should easily make music videos, advertisements, graphic designs, and animations among other things at the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation’s (FBC) newly launched Studio 69.

The announcement was made by the company’s chief executive officer, Riyaz Sayed- Khaiyum yesterday.

“With our new slogan: ‘You’re Number 1 with Us’ we want our viewers to be better informed, educated and entertained,” Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said.

He said the new Studio 69 was like a one- stop shop for the consumers.

“FBC TV has also launched new television programmes as we celebrate our third anniversary later this month.

In terms of shows, Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said there was a new Hindi mythological show called Mahadev which would replace Mahabharat on Sundays.

“The X-Factor returns which is extremely popular and for the first time in Fiji we will have international boxing for two hours every Friday night on Friday night sports evening programme.”

He said they also had Insomniacs which was a regular TV programme from 12.30am to 5am which started early this month to keep the viewers entertained.

“This was for people who are not able to sleep and would want to watch TV, so apart from Al Jazeera we want to give our viewers something more.”

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said their best programmes would be repeated overnight as well.

“We do our best to bring new products for the viewers and we are excited about our new studio and the four new shows.”

Meanwhile, FBC TV will celebrate its third anniversary on November 25.
