Adi Sivo Ravuwale,56 of Bulileka Settlement in Labasa is seeking answers to how her farm house was burnt on Christmas morning.

The incident happened when the house occupants were attending Christmas Day church service.

“I had lent my farm house to a family which came from Naitasiri,” Adi Sivo said.

“Everybody was in church so no one was aware of the fire until the family lodging at the farm house went back after the service.

“I was at home on Christmas morning and I was shocked to receive the news. My farm house is a few kilometres from my home. Everything is gone, especially the farm equipment with the estimated cost of $10, 000,” she said.

National Fire Authority chief executive officer John O’ Connor said the case is under investigation.

He warns people to see how easily a fire could ruin lives and a hard work of a person.
