CES 2015 is set to be big this year, with a number of companies likely to unveil new smartphones, among other devices.
It can be a little difficult to keep track of all the smartphones that are to be released at CES 2015. Here is a list of what is likely to make an appearance.

Sony Xperia Z4

Sony is very likely to unveil its next-generation flagship device, the Xperia Z4. The company has even released a teaser trailer that seems to allude to the new device.

The Xperia Z4 will likely boast a powerful camera, a Snapdragon processor, and will run Android 5.0 Lollipop. That’s about all we know about the device, but whatever Sony unveils, it’s sure to be interesting. Sony will hold a press conference on Monday, Jan. 5, for the event.

LG G Flex 2

LG is expected to unveil a number of products at CES 2015. Along with the G Watch R 2, LG is also expected to show off the G Flex 2 second-generation curved smartphone.

It’s currently unknown as to what kind of upgrades the new phone will see over its predecessor, but it is likely to include a number of internal spec upgrades. The display of the phone should also get a sizable upgrade, which may be the selling point of the device.

Asus ZenFone

Asus has begun teasing a new ZenFone, a budget smartphone for those who don’t want to spend their life savings on a phone.

The device is rumored to come with a 4.5-inch 480 x 854 pixel resolution display, 1 GB of RAM and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. The front-facing camera is expected to be 0.3 megapixels.

Those specs certainly don’t sound great, but it’s important to keep in mind the fact that the device is aimed at the budget-conscious. The price will be the deciding factor in whether the phone is a success or not.

Kodak

In a perhaps more interesting move, Kodak is largely expected to unveil its entrance into the smartphone market at CES 2015. The hardware of the phone is expected to be made by a British company called Bullitt Group, which is known for its rugged smartphones for construction workers. The new phones will be powered by Android.

Kodak has completely restructured itself, now licensing its well-known brand, a move that helped the company exit bankruptcy back in September 2013.

It’s likely that the new devices will appeal predominantly to those needing a more rugged smartphone, but no real details about the upcoming device have been released aside from an annoucement touting the phone’s ease of use, its ability to “take great pictures and edit, share, store and print them in an instant,” and its remote management software.
