Students are now queuing up for Fiji National University enrolment.

Year 13 student Anareta Sekatoka travelled from Vunibau Village in Navua with her mother to Fiji National University (FNU) in Samabula for enrolment.

“I am a student of Lomary Secondary School and I am  here to apply for secondary teaching,”Sekatoka said.

Her mother, Lavenia Biukoro, claim tertiary tuition fees were expensive.

“This is our second day here at FNU and for this year we have allocated $3000 for her tertiary education,” Mrs Biukoro said.

“My husband is a carpenter and I am a housewife. We have five children. I have encouraged my daughter to perform to her best and make us proud,”she said.

Another student, Albert Francis said every child needed to choose his or her own career.

“I chose FNU because the fees are affordable and I also like the training that they provided,” Francis said.

The FNU student enrolment ends on January 28.
