A New Zealand-based movie production house is expected to complete shooting some scenes in the country next month.

“Majority of the film has been shot in New Zealand and features actors from Fiji, New Zealand, India and Pakistan, and now there is a plan to complete the shoot in Fiji,” Mr Punja said from Auckland yesterday.

He said only five per cent of the movie was left and it would be shot here.

“Yes we have plans to shoot some important scenes in Fiji by mid to end February.

Negotiations are under way for the locations and the venues to complete shoot of this film and its release,” he said.

According to Mr Punja the film is about a Fijian family, naturally the Fijian culture and language plays an important part in the movie.

“We want to showcase our Fiji and its beauty in this film.

We having almost completed the shoot but prefers a few scenes in Fiji to complete the movie.”

The world premiere will be held in Fiji at the end of June.

He said the movies had a satisfactory budget and was funded privately.

“We are keen on having sponsors who would like to feature their products or their company in the movie.

“This is a great opportunity and if they are keen then do write to me on jagdish_punja@yahoo.co.nz”.
