Three Suffer Minor Injuries

Speeding has led to three people suffering minor injuries following an accident along Kings Road yesterday.

The injured – two passengers and the driver – were travelling in a minivan when the vehicle bumped the rear end of the Nasese Bus near the Laucala Beach Road junction.

Fiji Police Force spokesperson Ana Naisoro alleged the minivan driver was speeding.

“The driver of the minivan was taken to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva for observation while two passengers were taken to the Valelevu Health Centre in Nasinu for treatment,” Ms Naisoro said.

The two passengers were treated for minor injuries and sent home while the driver remained under observation but is in stable condition.

Police investigations are continuing.
