Award-winning Rosie Tours is once again a finalist at this year’s prestigious 2014 AON Excellence in Tourism Awards.

The company is being recognised in the Transport Category.

A continuing contender for the awards, Rosie Tours has previously been recognised over a number of years.

Yet it is always an honour to be recognised for the hard work invested by the company, Group managing director, Tony Whitton said.

He said “The nomination honours the 200 staff, including reservations specialists, drivers, tour guides, customer care agents, and concierge services, who work round-the-clock providing a 24-hour airport office, a 24 hour customer care, airport welcome and world class tourist transportation service.”

Rosie Tours has not only been recognised for its work in the AON Excellence in Tourism Awards but also for other various awards including local awards.

“Rosie Tours has been voted ground operator of the year on many occasions and recognised for its excellence in delivery of service to international visitors

“We have also won the Prime Minister’s Tourism Exporter of the year,” added Mr Whitton.

The Tourism Industry is a forever growing industry for Fiji and over the years has become a leading foreign exchange industry.

Mr Whitton believes, “The tourism industry is the largest foreign exchange earner and the largest provider of employment.

“We know that the Tourism Fiji visitor arrival targets for 2014 were 714,000 visitors with GDP contributions of 1.8 million.

“Rosie Holidays is honoured to be a partner and investor in this exciting industry.”
