The body of one of the two Fijian nationals who drowned after their aluminum boat sank near a reef in the Phoenix Islands in Kiribati has been recovered.
The tragic incident took place on Saturday.
Police spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said they had received initial details of the drowning from the operations manager of Cruz Holdings, who received a call from a crew member of a ship operating near Phoenix Island.
The body found has yet to be identified.
