Fiji Beach Resort and Spa managed by international hotel chain Hilton Hotels and Resorts achieved another milestone as part of their rebranding campaign.

Their official name is now the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa. The resort is owned by local consortium Vision Group Limited.

The Group’s chairman Dilip Khatri was very happy with the new change.

“With this new branding, Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa, undoubtedly there’s going to be a major boost to Fiji tourism as the Hilton brand is a trusted and renowned name in the worldwide hospitality markets,” the chairman said.

Undergoing continuing development, the resort has just completed Phase 1 and 2A with 340 operating rooms and 164 individual villa owners at the resort.

Vision Group is investing further to complete Stage 2B of the Resort by July.

Last August, the group had also acquired the Sonaisali Island Resort in Nadi and the Tadrai Resort on Mana Island.

“We are further investing in the Sonaisali Resort to completely upgrade and refurbish the Resort.

“This resort too will be rebranded as a Double Tree Resort by Hilton Fiji and we anticipate re-opening this in the second quarter of this year,” Mr Khatri said.

According to the Vision Group its shareholders have made gross investment of approximately $170 million over the last nine years and now proudly employ approximately 1550 team members.
