Bombay Lodge curry house is a restaurant by Cardo’s that serves the essence of India.

It is truly captured when you are welcomed at the front entrance with “Namaste”, by Darbaan the doorman, dressed in traditional Indian attire to escort the guests to their tables.

There is a natural atmosphere in the restaurant that will blow you away with its authentic settings.

Originally from Natawa, in Tavua and completed his secondary education at Tilak High School, Lautoka.

He had to grow the passion in the culinary industry since a younger age. He took Food and nutrition subject in school. Later he took a six month course at TPAF.


Joined the Jack’s of Fiji group of restaurant at Saffron Tandoori restaurant in September 2010.

He joined Bombay Lodge eight months ago.

He is under the watchful eyes of India born head chefs Nathi Singh Negi and Krishna Chandra Singh.

“Something I love about Tandoori is the paste starter itself which is why it is unique,” Mr Prasad said.
