FIJI Water For Vanuatu
More Fijian help are trickling in to help the people of Vanuatu rebuild from the effects of Severe Tropical Cyclone Pam.
FIJI Water is among the donors with two container loads of bottled water to the Vanuatu government.
The help cost more than $70,000. The containers were delivered to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and will be shipped to Vanuatu by Pacific Direct Line, who donated their services in conjunction with Fiji Water’s sister company Neptune Pacific Line.
The Minister for Ministry for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya, acknowledged the donation from FIJI Water which was handed-over by its chief executive officer, Rokoseru Nabalarua.
“FIJI Water always try to support those in need, not only in Fiji and the Pacific islands, but around the world,” Mr Nabalarua said
Vanuatu was declared a State of Emergency by their government after the cyclone last fortnight.
The donation was part of the Fijian Government’s collective effort to assist the Vanuatu government with its relief efforts.
