Koro High School athletes will be gunning for better results in this year’s Coca-Cola Games.

This was after 16 of their athletes dominated their events in the 2015 Maritime Zone meet on Tuesday.

KHS coach Sitiveni Nawaco was confident his team would make a good impression.

“That has eventuated and we are ready for the Coke Games,” he said.

Nawaco pointed out that 11 athletes would be participating in the track events while five in the field.

“We had to expose our students to this level of competition so that they get a fair idea of how tough the competition would be. We have a few students as well who are going in as gold medal prospects as well.”

The Coca-Cola Games begins on Friday at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.
