The new Chef’s Kitchnen restaurant is situated at Namaka, the suburb of Nadi where development has been booming in the jet set town.

The eatery serves breakfast, lunch, Cakes O’ Clock (afternoon tea), and dinner.

They specialise in Chinese, Italian, Indian and international cuisine including vegetarian meals, cakes, pastries and pizza.

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 10pm and on Sundays from 8.30am to 9.30pm.

The Chef: Raj Chandra


Started his culinary career in 1983 as a part time at the Regent after attending Tilak High School.

He joined Sheraton and later Sonaisali Island Resort before moving to New Zealand in 2003.

He worked at Lantern Lander café as head chef in NZ and joined Pinot Plus, a fine dining restaurants in 2007.

Mr Chandra later moved on to join Kitchen Café.

He moved back to Fiji in 2014 and joined the Chef’s Kitchen in March 6, 2015.


Born in Lautoka to a family who are traditional chefs as his dad worked as an executive chef for 28 years at Regent Fiji (now The Westin Resort).
