After their stellar performance during the 2015 Vodafone Fijian FACT, Rewa is hoping to maintain their consistency in the Rewa Galaxy Premier League this Friday.

Coach Marika Rodu hopes to secure place by winning five of their upcoming matches.

“After our performance in the Vodafone Fijian FACT, the team needs to be consistent,” he said.

“We are confident we can secure the second spot in the Rewa Galaxy Premier League but in order to do that we need to win five games. It’s a big ask for the players but I know the players can and will give their best shot.”

Rodu said the team played well in terms of performance.

“Our loss in the first five rounds of the Premier League really affected us,” he said.

Rodu said the players would resume training today and would concentrate on the mental and technical aspects of the game.

“We need to work on our defence because there was six goals scored against us during Vodafone Fijian FACT and that was a bit alarming so we need to take a step up on that, as well as with our attack.”

Rewa will play Tailevu Naitasiri on Friday at Ratu Cakobau Park at 7.30pm.
