Namosi scored their second win beating Macuata 44 – 14 in round two the Skipper Cup competition at All Saints Secondary School yesterday.

Halftime: Namosi 20-7 Lautoka

Namosi continued to dominate in the second spell.

Star Turn: Viliame Bonagunu played well with his strong runs.

Big Play: Pita Sadrugu was outstanding for Macuata.

Macuata coach Epeli Tagivetaua: “Even though we lost, I’m pleased with our defence. There are some basic areas we need to improve on but the boys did well. I am impressed with the way they played especially since most of them are new to this level of rugby. Tough learning but they handled themselves well under pressure.”

Namosi assistant coach Digitaki Levaci: “Though we won, the boys did not stick to the game plan and we were not quite settled. I think two or three more games and we will settle in nicely.”
