Musket Cove Island Resort on Malolo Lailai has launched the first of its new-look refurbished beachfront bures.

Their 12 bures will boast brand new planned bathrooms, open-plan livingrooms, balconies with verandah-type living rooms and kitchen.

General manager Gary Snodgrass said the whole refurbishment amounted to a considerable investment, with a lot of work involved to maintain its quality.

“We really wanted to stick to the heart and soul of Musket Cove, which represents a true Fiji beach islands experience,” he said.

“With the mock-up set perfectly we will continue to do the rest of the beachfront bures so it is an ongoing enhancement plan of Musket Cove.”

Mr Snodgrass said the additional raintree houseroom should also be ready by the end of this year.

“It is all exciting times but it’s all the more important to stay close to the heart and soul, all the essence. We represent a good honest four-star Fiji islands beachfront experience.”

He said the owners and directors were committed to maintain the barefoot nature on the island.

“We are doing all this and to bring the international standards so we attract more and more visitors into Fiji,” he said.

Musket Cove has been always renowned for its yachting heritage with its island bar and barbecue attracting business from neighbouring resorts as well.

“The opening of the new Trader complex shows the direction it is going and its real boost. There is plenty to offer from international yacht and business coming from Denarau and all over Fiji,” he said.
