The Amalfi Italian Restaurant at Port Denarau celebrated its seventh anniversary last Saturday.

The eatery was opened on August 8, 2008.

It described itself as only genuine Italian restaurant in all of Fiji.

Manager Stefano Aprea said they made their name through the years thanks to their original Italian dishes and unique tastes.

“Fresh ingredients, home-made pasta and ravioli, best meat cuts and local fresh fish and seafood, jointly with the passion and dedication to the Italian gastronomy are the success keys of Amalfi,” he said.

Mr Aprea said despite the several attempts from competitors at making Italian pasta and dishes, the famous sentence, “Pasta can only be cooked by Italians” , is absolutely true and real.

“More than 195,000 guests from the time we opened, have been served here and the level of satisfaction and the very good feedback will push this restaurant further in the future,” Mr Aprea said.

The restaurant celebrated its seventh birthday in Fiji with a full house where patrons and special guests enjoyed discounts and special offers on food and drinks.
