The cast and crew of Dreams Production Twisted Families arrived yesterday for their movie premiere.

Premieres will be held in Fiji in Suva, Nadi and Lautoka on August 19, 20 and 21 respectively at the Damodar City Events Cinema, Village 4 Cinemas and Life Cinema.

Movie director Devesh Pratap Singh is looking forward to the premiere staged at the three locations in the country.

“This is not my first trip to Fiji but every time it has been wonderful as I am here with my cast and crew of my very current film.

Twisted Families, which is a very romantic comedy is premiering here and from August 27 it is going on screen for the public.”

About 17 people arrived from Auckland to gear up for the three movie premieres.

“The premiere is going to showcase our movie, what ‘Twisted Families’ is all about.

“It is basically a story between a Fijian Indian family and a Punjabi family and everything is very twisted actually.

“It is a twisted fun and a rollercoaster ride so anyone and everyone will relate to this movie.

“People living here young and old and living overseas, wherever they are, they will connect a cord with this movie.

“This is a very new concept, it is a new story, a very fresh story that is in our backyards and I can confidently say that it will be worth the watch,” he said.

Mr Singh is urging all to come and watch the movie and support it while having fun and loads of laughter.

The movie will be available for screening in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada, America, United Kingdom, Europe, India and Singapore.

Writer and producer Dr Rachel Singh has been in production line for the past 15 years following her doctor’s profession.

“It has been a great experience and Twisted Families is one the best by far with hilarious moments in the story.

Ms Singh is 100 per cent satisfied with the movie saying that justice was done to her work in the characters portrayed.

“We all are looking forward to the premiere here in Fiji and Jagdish Punja has done a brilliant job and has delivered what we wanted him to,” she said.
