Joseph Kwadjo is all set to face off against Joeli Naleca in Western Boxing Rumble 2015 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on September 26.

The duo with contest the 10x 3 minute bout under the Westwood Boxing Promotions while in the main bout will see Fiji’s welterweight champions Junior ‘The Razor’ Farzan Ali to face Suva’s Ulaiasi Qalomai (12 x 3 minutes).

Kwadjo’s fight against King Davidson on September 5 was stopped by referee due to dislocated shoulder injury to Kwadjo during the programme at ABA Stadium, Auckland, and NZ.

“I am fit once again, got injured and back to the basics. This is an important fight as I am fighting for free. This is to support boxing in Fiji as it has been dead for a while,” he said.

“I have deep respect for my opponent as we will be there to entertain the crowd.

He has competed in 32 fights with 21 wins (16 KO) and 10 losses.

Promoter Praneel Dass said the fight was destined to revive boxing and the boxers as a whole.

“Joseph Kwadjo is a world-rated boxer and a class on his own. He has got big fans in Fiji and I am sure most of them are waiting to see him back in the ring,” he added.

“Even some new boxers can learn from experience and ratedboxers like Kwadjo who had already fought more boxers around the world.”
