Jonny Singh is ready to take his boxing career to another level when he faces Tomu Gaunavou in the Western Boxing Rumble 2015 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on September 26.

Dubbed as ‘machine gun’ made his professional debut in 2011 where he lost two of the seven fights.

“I am ready for this fight and for the first time since 2012 I am back and do thank the promoter in assisting us setting up the programme.

“This is an important fight for me, and I have been busy with training and regarding my opponents will be disclosed inside the ring,” Singh said.

The 30-year-old made his debut victory over professional boxer Waisale Ratu in 2011 where he shocked the crowd when he won in the first round by knockout.

His trainer Faiyaz Ali said Singh was all set to go.

“I have faith in him and this boxer will bring the sport to life again, which we the boxing fraternity is always concerned about,” Ali said.

In the main bout under the Westwood Boxing Promotions will see Fiji’s welterweight champions junior ‘The Razor’ Farzan Ali to face Suva’s Ulaiasi Qalomai in the main bout (12 x 3 minutes).

Ghanaian Boxer Joseph Kwadjo is all set to face off Joeli Naleca in the 10x 3 minute bout.
