TEC Container Targets Ports in the Pacific Islands

TEC Container Asia Pacific Pty Limited believes it has the product that will be more suitable for ports in the Pacific Islands.
Company executive, Roger Cannon confirmed yesterday that they are the authorised agent of TEC Container Spain.
“ The basis of our presentation was safety and productivity on the wharf front and the solutions for Pacific island ports in particular,” Mr Roger said when asked about their presentation at the 40th Pacific Maritime Transport Alliance (PMTA) conference in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea last month.
“TEC Container Spain has been in business for 40 years in the cargo business. They provide productive and safe solutions for unusual cargo situations.”
He said they were appointed early this year to focus on the Asia Pacific region.
“The Pacific Island ports are of real interest to us because many of the ports do not have the infrastructure of some of the larger ports in the region and require guidance in coming up with cost effective solutions.”
Mr Canon said their objectives are:
Safe handling of cargo
Productivity in the cargo handling business.
He pointed out their strengths are:
Ability to assess the customers’ requirements
