The Naviti Resort has once again been recognised with other resorts and hotels in the country by the renowned US travel website, TripAdvisor.

The resort which comes under Warwick Hotels & Resorts, received the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award for Family Resorts here.

Resort general manager John Duxbury said it was again special for them and paid tribute to his staff members.

“All staff go beyond the call of duty to make every guest, both adults and children, to be treated like family members and is one of the reasons that our guests return year after year as well as keeping in touch with staff members well and truly after they have returned home,” Mr Duxbury said.

“In most cases, return guests bring gifts for staff whom they have seen growing up over the years.

“I believe that this shows the unique culture of this resort.

“2015 was also a remarkable year for the resort in terms of occupancy and revenues which continues to increase each year and early indications for 2016 shows that this trend is continuing.”

Meanwhile, the resort is currently putting the final touches in place to begin the first stage of the rebuild programme.

It will see the extension of Bamboo Terrace Chinese restaurant kitchen with a purpose-built buffet restaurant and construction of a bakery and café.

Following this it will undergo a big investment on its  central facility building.

This is aimed at enhancing the resort’s Naviti’s reputation as one of Fiji’s best family resort offering affordable all-inclusive package.

“The key to our success has been the ability of our wonderful staff to adapt and their approach to ensuring our guests have a fantastic experience second to none.

“We go into 2016 with the same unique approach we have in previous years and look forward to even more honours in the coming months and years.”
