The Director of Public Prosecutions Christopher Pryde (DPP) has decided that no criminal charges will be
filed against the former Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Henry Brown as a result of a review of the Police files.

Mr Pryde confirmed receiving three files from Police on former ACP Henry Brown alleging abuse of office in three separate matters.

Mr Pryde said, “Following a review of each of the three files, we have advised Police that there is insufficient evidence to proceed and that, accordingly, no criminal charges will be filed.
“Any issues arising concerning possible breaches of Police procedure however are solely matters to be decided by the Police Commissioner.”
