This repositions us globally, says Mr McCarthy

 

The managing director for Total Fiji, Martin McCarthy, yesterday launched the new retail tagline ‘Energising Life Every Day’

Speaking at their head office in Walu Bay, Mr McCarthy said: “Being the first country in Asia Pacific to launch a new retail tagline, there will be new adverts that will be run on television, in cinemas and posters will be put up to accompany the new tagline,” Mr McCarthy said.

“The new tagline will replace its last tagline ‘You Know Where to Turn’.

With their new tagline, Total repositions itself globally.

“It looks at a different way of doing what we do for our customers,” Mr McCarthy said.

There will be promotions as part of the advert launch. These will begin in one month’s time.

“There will be a bumper sticker promotion; People with bumper stickers can have a chance to win prizes. There will be a Bluetooth application that we will have in the shops, as you come into the service station and have the bluetooth activated on your phone, you sign up and can get messages at the station for a chance to be part of the promotion opportunities.” Mr McCarthy said.

The winners for the Singapore Sevens promotion were also announced during the launch.

Winners will be flown and taken care of during their three nights stay at Singapore, and will fly back after the tournament with Fiji Airways directly to Nadi.  Names of the winners will be released later.

The HSBC Singapore Sevens promotion was run from February 8 to March 31, 2016.
