Tickets are selling fast for the Super Rugby Crusaders versus Chiefs match on July 1 at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Acting Fiji Sports Council manager operations Eleina McDonald said while tickets had been allotted for the two franchises fans from New Zealand, local fans were alerted not to wait for the last minute.

“From the amount made today, it’s clear that tickets are fast selling in Fiji and its only Day 2. For those who wish to attend, it is important you buy now because come game day tickets will go up by five dollars,” McDonald said.

She said parents were advised that tickets were the same price for both adults and children.

“We just want to let parents know that your child will only have a free admission to the grandstand if the child is sitting on your lap, otherwise a seat is $120 or $160,” she said.

She explained there had been issues in the past where a child accompanying parents would occupy a seat which was not paid for.

“Come game day we don’t want to be telling parent to leave so we want to get the words out there to parents,” McDonald said.

Fans can purchase tickets for the grass embankment for $15, concrete embankment ticket prices are $25 while grandstand tickets range from $120 (Gold) to $160 (Platinum).

Tickets can be purchased at the Fiji Sports Council Office in Suva and is also available online at www.ticketdirect.com.fj.

The Crusaders take on the Chiefs at 7.35pm at Suva’s ANZ Stadium on July 1.
