Nineteen-year-old, Crystal Singh is one of 10 finalists vying to represent Fiji at the 66th Miss World finals.

The Naitasiri beauty, who is a dancer with Vou Dance Group, which specialises in contemporary, hip hop and traditional dances.

“I hope to become a great dancer and travel the world with my talent and dancing is what I will showcase during the private judging on May 5,” she said.

Miss Singh enjoys rapping, playing with animals and martial arts and lists rapping with dance as her talent.

“I would love to raise awareness on animal abuse because I think this issue is not taken seriously. Through Miss World’s Beauty with a Purpose platform, I hope to highlight this issue and hope to make a change”.

The former D.A.V Girls student aspires to be a vet in the future as she adores animals and would love to help affected ones.

Miss World Fiji 2016 will be crowned on May 7 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva and will represent Fiji at the 66th Miss World contest later in the year.

The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation is officially managing and producing Miss World Fiji while the Grand Pacific Hotel is the official host partner. Fiji Airways is the official airline partner and the Fiji Sun is the official print media partner.
