Crusaders and Vodafone Flying Fijians first five eight Ben Volavola is looking forward to their first match against Tonga on Saturday.

Volavola said they knew it won’t be easy but would take one team at a time.

“It’s definitely going to be a brutal game against Tonga,” he said.

“We are just focusing on that game to be honest and I’m sure there’s going to another physical game against Samoa and Georgia but at the moment and hopefully come up with a good win.”

Since joining camp last week Wednesday Volavola added the team had a short break in the weekend and this allowed him to visit his family.

“This was something I had wanted to do. It was good to see my family, we had a bit of a time off during the weekend and now we are just looking forward to get on the field and playing in front of our family and friends,” he said.

“It was the first day since the rest of the boys returned and we still have a few boys to come in.”

Volavola is calling out to supporters to come out in numbers to support them on Saturday.

“Hopefully the supporters continue to support us it was a great motivation for us during and after the World Cup and it’s such a great thing for our people to be part of us. We hope to see the people come out on Saturday and support us again,” he added.
