Former England rugby winger Semesa Rokoduguni said it’s going to be hard to say which team will win the gold medal at next month’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Rokoduguni who is currently in his village in Naselai, Tailevu told SUNsports yesterday that all countries would be competitive at the Olympics.

“In this Olympics we can’t write off any teams, all teams have been working hard since everyone wants to win gold,” he said.

“There are teams like Argentina, New Zealand and Great Britain and they will be very competitive and it’s very hard to say who will win.”

Rokodoguni who was part of England’s Rugby World Cup squad last year have high hopes that more local players would do well in the sport.

“I always come back here, this is where everything started, this is my home team and it’s good to come back and teach the boys. I have seen what rugby does in one’s life and that’s what I hope for my brothers to achieve.” he added.
