More options for your children’s clothing, accessories and for expecting mothers are now available.

This after Jack’s Group of Companies opened Baby Jack’s store on Renwick Road, opposite MHCC. It adds to its list of specialised brands in the retail market.

Jack’s Group of Companies executive chairman Dilip Khatri said there was a need for a specialised baby shop here.

“We’ve toyed around with different concepts as to what bracket we are going to cater for,” Mr Khatri said.

“Then we’ve got this premises. We were always looking for opportunities. This is what Jack’s is all about.

“Years ago, we opened Jack’s Little India in Nausori and now we’ve got 11 branches around the country.

“We hope to achieve our ambition that it meets the niche market that we are catering for.”

Vandana Mudaliar, one of the first customers lauded the friendly services, the shops inviting interior designs and its range.

“For me, it’s very difficult to find a shop where all the kids’ products are at one place and we have to go around looking for things here and there,” she said.

“The first day for me I think it was quite interesting. I was able to find most of the things I was looking for especially for my son, Jayden.”

The shop has 14 staff members and opens from 9am to 9pm from Monday to Sunday.

More shops in future

Mr Khatri revealed that they were already looking at premises in Lautoka and Nadi for new Baby Jack’s outlets.

“So the dream is we’ll have Baby Jacks all over the country in the next four or five years,” he said.

Baby Jack’s offers clothing and accessories for newborns to children of up to six years of age, as well as for expecting mothers.
