Pac Leaders Join PM In Thomson Reception
The Prime Minister hosted a reception to farewell and congratulate Fiji’s former Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Peter Thomson as he assumes his new role as President of the United Nations’ 71st General Assembly.
The evening’s reception saw the Prime Minister thank those countries that came to Fiji’s assistance and bid for candidacy to the UNGA President post.
Pacific Islands’ Heads of States and Heads of Government joined the Prime Minister this evening in New York to congratulate him on his new role and to thank him for his assistance over the years in his former post as Fiji’s envoy to the UN.
