Sixty-four leave in students from the University of South Pacific’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management are expected to benefit during the Careers Fair tomorrow.
Media/Public Relations co-ordinator Ana Tudrau-Tamani said this would be the School of Tourism’s 10th anniversary Careers Fair at the Shangri-La Fijian Resort and Spa in Cuvu, Nadroga.
The one-day event is being organised by USP’s School of Tourism and Hospitality management in partnership with industry stakeholders with more than 20 hotels/resorts taking part.
Ms Tudrau-Tamani said: “The event is an opportunity for our 64 graduating students from the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) to talk directly with employers.
“This is to gain ideas on career paths and opportunities within their sector or organisation. It will also be an opportunity for employers to seek potential employees that will fit into their respective organizations.”
The Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya, will officiate at the event, scheduled from 9am to 4pm.
