The Babasiga Lions team are hoping to get players currently camping with the Vodafone national team for their crucial clash against Dreketi on Saturday at Subrail Park, Labasa. Labasa Football Association vice-president and media liaison officer, Varun Anand said the players are Akeimi Ralulu, Apenisa Anare, Edwin Shahayam and Akuila Mateisuva.

“Preparation is going well,” he said.

“We are preparing for the worst. Come game day we want to bring our best to the table. This is the second round of the Vodafone Premier League and we are gearing up for this match.”

Anand said they have opted not want to make any more comments.

Dreketi football manager cum assistant coach Roneel Ram, said after they are working on their game structure.

“This is on our defence. The boys are playing well but we will be working on our weak areas before our next match.”
