Flying Fijians Off To Toulouse

The Vodafone Flying Fijians team departed the country on Friday for the much anticipated Europe tour that starts next week.

The local based-players were later spotted with the Fijian-born players in the Australian Wallabies in the likes of Henry Speight, Marika Koroibete, Tevita Kuridrani and Sefa Naivalu at the transit lounge in Sydney. They were all travelling for their Europe Autumn internationals tour.

The John McKee-coached Fijian side are on their way to Toulouse, France where they will be based.

The Flying Fijians face the Barbarians in Belfast on November 11, England at Twickenham (November 19) and Japan in Vannes, France on November 26.

“We are anticipating a strong and challenging matches in these three days,” McKee said.

“Japan was one of the most improved team in the 2015 Rugby World Cup, they proved themselves well and we are aware of the challenge they will bring.

“It will be a one week-high intense training for us in Toulouse and the Northern Hemisphere players are excited to join the team,” McKee said.

With the Northern Tour, set for this month- our Vodafone Flying Fijians are on their way to Toulouse to prepare for their clash against the Barbarians, England and Japan.
