Team Westpac Win Charity Golf
Team Westpac won the Fiji Chemicals Sigatoka District Charity Golf Day at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course yesterday.
The team of Brett Hooker, Denise Quayla, Kim Hall and Elliot Griffin carded a nett score of 131.25 to claim top honours in a count back over Team Marsh.
Team Marsh consisted of Michael Wong, Pravesh Punja, Susana and Michael Pritchard.
Team Mali Pest Control with the services of Nitulesh Mali, Azam Khan, Mohammed Faiyaz and Fijian professional golfer Vikrant Chandra scored 132.
Coral Coast Hotel Association chairman Peter Hopgood, said the charity golf was a successful one.
“The tournament is in its fifth year and have raised over $57,000 in this annual ambrose event,” said Hopgood.
“All money raised will go towards the new project at the Sigatoka District Hospital and we are happy for the support given to the event. Fourteen corporate teams competed for the great cause, on a great course with great prizes and lots of fun.”
He thanked sponsors Fiji Chemicals, Yatule Resort and Spa, Namana Art, Natadola Bay Championship, Denarau Marina Deli, Castaway Resort, Naviti Resort and Tappoos to name a few.
Other prize winners- nearest to pin (ntp), Kavikesh Prasad, Vikrant Chandra, Nitulesh Mani, Heman Kumar, longest drive at hole 18- Vikrant Chandra.
