A Toyota Levin with 3sge engine and manual transmission does the trick for Richard Singh on a race track.

Singh, a 19-year-old Fiji National University student from Nadi is gearing up for the biggest drag race to be held on December 18 at Nanuku airstrip in Pacific Harbour.

This race is being organised by the Fiji Car Club Association including a car show on the same day at Nanuku airstrip in Pacific Harbour.

Mr Singh had interest in sports cars since childhood.

“We (My brother and I) own a Toyota Levin which has 3sge engine with manual transmission,” he said.

“The engine is special as its way faster than the previous engine and gives a smoother running.”

Mr Singh said Fiji is now having good sports cars and this is what we expected.

He has recently installed a new 3 sge engine worth $2900.

Mr Singh said there are more upgrades to be done as it has been only 2 months since they bought the Levin.
