Need To Stop Piracy: Procera Music

Support local artists, stop piracy.

This is the message behind the Procera Music and FBC 2016 Christmas party  festival at Syria Park in Nausori.

Procera Music director Mohammed Akif said the fete aimed to educate the public on the need to stop the illegal downloading of music and to help local artists.

“The money made in this festival goes back to artistes so that it can help them with their music careers,” Mr Akif said.

The festival, which began last night, ends on December 17.

There will be 30 groups performing in the week-long festival with iTaukei, Bollywood and youth nights scheduled.

Mr Akif is inviting the public in the Central Division to come and support our artists and enjoy a week of music.

Groups that will feature in the event include Malumu ni Tobu kei Naivaukura, Kerry Damudamu, Voqa kei Valenisau, Waikatakata Vure, Suliasi Uluilakeba, Drodrolagi kei Nautosolo and Savu ni Delai Lomai.
