Containers And Vehicles To Be Offloaded at Suva Port
The MV Coral Islander will berth at the Suva Port tomorrow.
It will be off loading 111 vehicles and 125 full containers.
This has been confirmed to the Fiji Sun by Carpenters Shipping port agent Tomasi Raturaga.
According Mr Raturaga the vessel is also loading transshipment cargo to Nukualofa, Tonga and 23 new vehicles to Papeete, Tahiti.
He says their cruise liner Voyages of the Seas is also at Suva Port.
It is carrying in 3257 passengers and has 1850 crews.
The cruise liner he says is on a goodwill visit and left yesterday.
Mr Raturaga also confirmed that the car carrier `Precious Ace’ will be at Suva Port on January 13
“It is bringing new vehicles only – Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Izu, etc.”
Mr Raturaga said the vessel BSL Limassol discharged cargoes at Suva Port on Saturday and left for its next port soon after.
