Aieta Kalaucava counts herself as one of the biggest fans of the Vodafone national sevens team.

And Punjas has provided her with the opportunity of a lifetime — to actually watch the team play at the most prestigious tournament, the Hong Kong Sevens.

The Lami-based nanny was speechless and could not believe her luck when she was contacted and told she was the second winner in their Punjas Breakfast Crackers promotion.

At first they thought she was lying. But now she is the envy of the whole neighbourhood. She lives with her dad, a single parent, and two younger siblings.

Ms Kaloucava’s was picked from more than 26,000 entries for the second draw, which was double the number of 14,000 entries for draw one.

She has a valid passport and this trip will be the first registered on the document.

Ms Kaloucava said it had been her dream since she was little to watch the Hong Kong Sevens and Punjas had made that dream come true.

It would also be a double celebration for her around that time as she would be celebrating her 22nd birthday in April.

“I am a hardcore sevens fan,” she said.

Punjas Group Marketing manager Gopal Jadhav said: “There will be one trip per month drawn between now and March plus a further six trips drawn in the final draw of the promotion in mid-March.”

He said there were two draws left with eight more people to win the remaining tickets.

Free air fares, $2000 spending money, tickets to the three-day event and accommodation awaits nine more people as Punjas confirmed their first lucky winner to the 2017 Hong Kong Sevens yesterday.

“This is the first promotion from Punjas Biscuits since we started production in December 2014,” Mr Jadhav said.

“And it is a particularly proud moment for Punjas to be able to take 10 winners watch the 2017 Hong Kong Sevens.”

That’s not all — during each monthly draw, 100 more people will become winners and they would be receiving prizes ranging from Fiji supporters gear, BLK rugby balls and Punjas Biscuit Hampers.

To gain entry, one has to purchase any of Punjas Breakfast Crackers specially-marked packets and find inside a unique code that could be make you a winner for the all expenses paid trip to Hong Kong.

Text the unique code found inside the packets and pails to 700 7070.

The promotion started last month and ends in February 2017.
