CWM Connects To TFL’s Wifi Services
Connecting to the internet has been made easier for CWM Hospital patients, staff members and visitors.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Health and Medical Services and Telecom Fiji Limited to enable the latter’s Wifi service, Connect Velocity, at the hospital.
Following this, more hospital around the nation would be connected too.
Vouchers are available at TFL centres and selected retail outlets. It’s $2 per day and $5 per week.
TFL chief executive officer Mothilal De Silva said the pilot project was a success.
“We will be replicating and rolling out Wifi services across Fiji in other hospitals also.”
Minster for Health and Medical Services Rosy Akbar said: “This investment by TFL to deliver Wifi access in health facilities is a great example of how my ministry is continuing to work alongside partner organisations to improve the services we offer to Fijians.”
