World Boxing Foundation (WBF) Asia Pacific super lightweight champion Sebastian Singh wants to fight Junior ‘The Razor’ Farzan.

Singh, 23, who has maternal links to Bau, Tailevu, did not mince his words after his round six technical knockout victory over Thailand’s Roonayut Boonraska at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Saturday.

“There is a fight everybody wants to see and that is against Junior Farzan, I don’t fear him. He knows the promoter and where to sign the contract. I can fight him any day of the week,” he said.

“This WBF title is not mine but for the nation of Fiji and I will work harder to keep on defending it for Fiji.”

He dedicated his win to his cousin, who was recently diagnosed with cancer and his four-month year old daughter.

Taganikoro: I’m on my prime

Bukuya, Ba native Vilimoni Taganikoro is looking for more fights and his next opponent is likely to be Savenaca Naliva of Sorokoba, in Ba.

In the main supporting bout, Taganikoro decked Sefanaia Vakacegu in the first round.

“I am on my prime now, I need to fight Naliva of Ba and he knows that, hope to see him in the ring soon,” he said.

Viliame Seru of Mulomulo is also looking forward to the next programme.
